Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech Position: Digital Marketing Specialist Location: Northampton, MA Immediate Supervisor: Chief Communications Officer At Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech we teach children who are deaf or hard of hearing to listen and talk. With access to sound provided by cochlear implants or hearing aids and intensive therapy and education, children who are profoundly deaf can learn to listen and talk. Develop the digital marketing strategy for the organization which reflects the goals and needs of the organization as a whole, the 5 campuses, 9+ programs and development. . Create an editorial calendar that guides regular content sourcing and development. . In collaboration with campus staff (development and educators), write engaging digital content, such as web content, social media posts and eBlasts for and about the organization's 5 campuses, 9+ programs that inspires and engages our followers/site visitors/constituents (families of students; funders; alumni; donors; staff) . Produce variations of content appropriate to each channel (website, event-specific eBlast, bi-monthly eNewsletter, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). . Manage social media activities on a daily basis - posting, responding, engaging with followers. . Propose and implement strategies to better build and engage social media follower base. . Track and analyze marketing results using Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other sources, to produce regular reports and make/suggest adjustments based on data collected. . eBlast management -- manage calendar, collect content, maintain contacts lists, build in Constant Contact (2-3 eBlasts per week and bi-monthly eNewsletter as well as one-off promotional emails) . Catalog and archive video and image content. . Manage video accounts (vimeo, youtube) - uploading, captioning, providing details, titles, tags per set naming convention . Some webmaster duties -- updating web content, fixing broken links and images. . Monitor, assess and improve the organization's SEO, SEM, and make recommendations for other digital marketing activities (e.g., online advertising). Qualifications: . Exceptional writing, editorial, proofing skills** . Excellent interpersonal skills e.g., Ability to gain consensus/elicit enthusiasm internally to encourage staff to participate in social media content creation . 3+ years in digital marketing and communications with an agency, business, corporation, or a non-profit organization. . A four year degree in Communications, Marketing or related field . Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, tracking and analysis. .
