I will be teaching a course on Javascript at Greenfield Community College starting Thursday, January 26. The class is for credit (3 semester hours) and will be taught Thursdays from 3 PM to 5:45 PM in the East Building on Main Campus, Room E144. There are prerequisites: CIS-150 (Programming Principles and Concepts) or CIS-151 (Website development). It may be possible to audit the course, but I'm not sure what that might involve. Obviously it's not free. Even with in-state tuition the course will cost over $600, but you will get an in depth exposure to Javascript and jQuery through lecture, labs, assignments and projects.
