A note of nomenclature (or TLA's if you like)

A CMS is content management system: Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal

ACT is a CRM - customer relationship system.

Very different beasts

I am out of current touch for recommendations, the on-line ones that
come to mind are:
     - Sales force - big expensive
     - SugarCRM - worked for us a few years ago, after using ACT -- been
worked on continuously, is opensource
     - CiviCRM - used by many non-profits and works with WP, J,D CMS above

There are others and lots of good online reviews
For $1200 a year, that's $100/mon
what's that worth in terms of conversion and learning if they are happy
with ACT.
