Technology Products R&D Scientist (Full Time)
FTL Labs Corporation is currently working with UMass to develop
next-generation technology products to solve problems for government and
industrial clients. This is work that requires broad engineering skills
and innovative thinking in a team setting. Additional skills that would be
advantageous include:

-Understanding and interest in multidisciplinary science including
physics, chemistry, and life sciences
3.
-Electromechanical system design, assembly, and testing
4.
-Lead a team of engineers in R&D projects
5.
-Custom PCB board development
6.
-Laser and optical system design
7.
-Mechanical design using CAD (SolidWorks)
8.
-Mechanical fabrication including CNC, mill, lathe, drill press, etc.
9.
-System prototyping and testing
10.
-Laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and
microscopes
11.
-Self-motivated and goal oriented
12.
-Fun and easy to work with in a dynamic team
Ph. D, Master’s or Bachelor's degree candidates with a minimum of 2-4
years of experience will be considered. FTL Labs Corporation is a growing
small business located in Amherst, Massachusetts. Our business’ primary
focus is on solving engineering problems for the government and within the
