ACN is *slightly* cheaper than Verizon (ACN is about $60, with taxes and fees
vs Verzion is $80 with taxes and fees), but otherwise, no.

The *only* option is Verizon bare phone service: local calling only.  
Something around $25/month.  Then you get a calling card for long distance.  I 
guess this makes sense if you "rarely" make LD calls.
