That looks like a good solution for me, and I have signed up and bought a Nexus 5x to use with it (one of the only two phones that supports Fi, currently). I especially like the international calling features and the pay-as-you-go data plan. In fifteen years since I got my first mobile phone this will be the first time my wife and I will be on different plans. It will up our bills a bit, but still be way cheaper than the Sprint, TMobile, and Cingular plans we had before switching to Consumer Cellular two years ago, and back then we had flip phones that were useless on the Internet.
