Zach. Thanks for that. Good resource. Third party repair is very important. Ability to work on Apple computers it's pretty common. Ability to get reimbursed for those repairs under warranty through Apple rather than having to charge the customer directly it is harder. Apple is doing a similar thing right now with iPhone repairs. Where 3rd party stores like us repair them and often do it for less than Apple does... Apple not only voids any warranty on the phone but also refuses to ever fix it again if you get it fixed by a third party first. Thankfully they're still doing all the trade-in deals and most things can be just fixed by a third party or trade in. On the flip side we started seeing actual Samsung OEM phones screens available on the secondary market for replacement Kiernan Gulick-Sherrill Green Earth Computers www.greenearthpc.us kiernan at greenearthpc.us 413-282-8324 ----------------------- See what people are saying -- Check us out on Yelp: http://bit.ly/GEPCYELP On May 5, 2016 11:17 AM, "Zach Fried" <zach at localprosper.com> wrote: > > > > > Folks who support the ability for non-Apple repair shops to keep repairing > Apple devices can support the Digital Right to Repair Act: > https://massachusetts.repair.org > > > > On May 5, 2016, at 6:51 AM, Todd Felton <rtf at rtfconsulting.co> wrote: > > > > > I'll put my vote in for the Holyoke Mall Mac Store.
