Xero is an online app. I understand the appeal of online apps, but I keep
running into limitations that desktop apps don't have. I'd make a point of
checking the features you need on an online app before you settled on it.

We switched from Quickbooks to Xero. I find it much more user friendly.

Yes, agreed-- Freshbooks, it's very simple, cloud-based, easy to use and
even the on-line help/tutorials are easy.

I haven't tried it yet.. YNAB (You Need a Budget) is so far enough for me.
But if I had to go to a more business accounting software I'd definitely
look at Freshbooks.

Would love to know if anyone on this list is using it!
