Click Workspace Director Position Summary: Click Workspace is seeking a 32-hour per week Director to manage the organization’s coworking space and mission to provide educational and networking opportunities at the intersection of commerce and culture for its members and the community. The successful candidate will have a passion for fostering relationships, strong self discipline, and an appreciation for a fun, dynamic work environment. The Director will work with the board of directors to oversee Click Workspace's membership growth, administration, marketing/communications, fundraising, and programming functions. Experience in administration and communications is a huge plus. Areas of responsibility include: - Membership Growth - Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors/callers/building neighbors, ensuring a welcoming environment. Facilitate the continued growth of Click Workspace membership. - Member Support - Build and maintain strong relationships with our members. - Office Administration - Manage administrative functions including financial accounting and office operations. Oversee purchasing of office supplies. Oversee and troubleshoot routine problems with equipment maintenance, internet service, etc.. Maintain records of the organization. - Marketing and Communications - Manage communications, including maintaining website, composing monthly email newsletters, managing social media presence, and writing weekly member updates. - Outreach - Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, funders, and program partners. Participate in regional coworking organization meetings, represent Click Workspace at meetings with outside stakeholders. Help to generate participation in Click’s Kiva Zip program. - Programming - Organize and manage a regular series of member and community events including professional development workshops and arts events. - Fundraising - May include corporate sponsorship, grant writing, and partnership development. Qualifications: - Proficiency in Quickbooks, Squarespace, MailChimp, Google Docs, social media channels. - Strong communication and writing skills. - Strategic thinking, with the ability to develop relationships and facilitate networking among members and outside partners. - Strong organization skills and sense of accountability, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in grant writing and proposal development. - Understanding of information technology needs. - Respect and appreciation for all cultures, religions, races, genders, physical abilities, and sexual identity and orientation. - Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field; or significant relevant experience in project management or membership support. - Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Compensation: Salary is approximately $36,000, depending on experience. Benefits include 10 days paid time off and 10 paid holidays.
