[Hidden-tech] Olivernetko & sudden Mac shutdown

The Apple link mentions MBP 15" from early 2011 & late 2011 are covered
by this shutdown problem. Mine is 15-inch Mid 2010 and doesn't show any
repair options when I plug the serial # in the website lookup. The
shutdowns persist. It never happened before I factory reset and upgraded
the OS. That's almost 6 years.

Rob mentioned overheating. In Dec. I had the thing re-puttied for heat
leakage as the computer was running hot. Worked wonders. Shutdowns began
after factory resetting and upgrading from the original OS to El Capitan.

Now every keystroke moving from window to window is taking many seconds
and the rainbow pinwheel starts spinning. Cripes.

I'll look for an anti-virus, I guess. Kiernan recommended AVG Free
Antivirus for Mac.
