[Hidden-tech] WordPress security question

Pubic thanks to Jeff Brand. His suggestion of the
https://wordpress.org/plugins/username-changer/ plugin was just what I
needed. Have changed my logon for about six sites without a problem, and
then deactivated the plug in. One site went bazoomy when I updated the
long-extinct version of WordPress preparatory to adding the plugin, but
that's not the plugin's fault, as I hadn't added it yet. My hosting company
is trying to figure out what's going on.
