Dear HT,

I am trying to convert some mini DV digital video tapes to DVDs and/or
cloud storage.

I think I can do this with iDVD.

I have 2 MacBooks, one has iDVD and a busted drive, the other has a working
drive but no iDVD.

I transferred iDVD from one to the other but need admin to have it be
accepted as an application. I forgot admin credentials.

I tried to reinstall OS X Snow Leopard from disk holding command + R on
restart but it did not reboot to the correct start screen.

Thanks for any help.

Happy new year!

Andrew
