Just to add that I also did business with Vince back in the 90s and have several components from him that I still use regularly. He's a very good resource for stuff and service and info and (strong) opinions. There is also a guy in the hilltowns I know who is more of a collector, but has sold and serviced some stuff for me, including getting my Otari R2R deck working again.I recently acquired another Otari, but it too will require service after a 10+ year hiatus. Anyway, I can put you in touch with this fellow and see if he might also be willing to help you.Cheers,Steve Steve Unkles, Production Manager Audio-Visual Archives Media Production and Preservation www.MakeHistory.tv From: Jonathon Podolsky <producer at wholehealthexpo.com> To: Michael Muller <tech at montaguewebworks.com> Cc: HT-discuss <Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net> Sent: Wednesday, December 7, 2016 11:30 PM Subject: Re: [Hidden-tech] Reel to Reel Thank you everyone for the replies! I've heard from numerous people on list and via private message. To summarize, in case others are interested, the consensus is: -Steve Unkles www.MakeHistory.tv for media conversion projects, know-how, etc. -Vince at Audio Proz in Watertown www.audioproz.com if buying/servicing reel-to-reel player. Also Michael thank you for the kind thoughts regarding the overall project.
