[Hidden-tech] smart home tech + security advice

I can be even more specific.

 

Anyone have experience with Vivint, Frontpoint, ADT, My Alarm Center or
their ilk?

 

I learned an odd factoid, Xfinity/Comcast is not allowed to 'take over' a
home in MA and use an existing system hardware/wiring. Go figure.

I would love to chat with someone who has gone through the morass of setting
up a smart home energy system integrated with a security.

 

It looks like Z Wave technology over WiFi is what at least one company uses.

 

My head's starting to hurt analyzing this stuff.
