I hosted one site with SiteGround for a year but left them when they tripled the price after the initial contract. I had to leave BlueHost when their tech support couldn't fix a major problem, but before that, I was happy with them for several years. I had one site hosted with a small company where I knew the owner, and got great service for a while, until she pulled the plug suddenly, leaving not only me but several people I'd sent to her utterly stranded. Between that experience and the need for 24/7 support, I got kind of soured on working with a really small hosting co. I also have a lot of sites so cost is a factor. Those two factors are a lot of why I stay with HostGator.
