A lot of the project management software I've looked at seems to be pretty specialized these days. It may also depend on what kind of team you have. As an example, I've been looking at Scrum based project management apps that integrate with source control for a .NET development environment, and we're going to move to using VisualStudio Online. Other than that, if you're a developer that uses cloud based source control, most of the non-open source solutions seem to have interesting project management add ons. Of course, if you're in some other kind of industry, the options will be different.
