Position Summary:

The contract Software Developer will work on all phases of the software development lifecycle supporting both new and existing products. Responsibilities may include all or some of the following: software development, data analysis, technical writing, unit testing, functional testing, technical support and system administration.

Fazzi Associates has been certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a vendor for a mandatory quality initiative. We are building new applications and a service line to support agencies that must comply with the new standards. The successful candidate(s) will fill a 4+ month part or full-time contract position contributing to the development of the new service. Other project assignments are likely. Position Responsibilities:

* Design and develop software solutions to meet business requirements.
* Enhance existing solutions to meet business requirements and change requests.
* Work with managers and business stakeholders to clarify and document requirements.
* Unit test systems to insure they meet all specifications.
* Use industry standard and Fazzi best practices
* Notify the CIO immediately as issues arise that affect project scope, schedule or cost
* Participate in an agile development software development lifecycle
* Accept other duties as assigned willingly and pleasantly.

Hiring Requirements
* Requires a BS degree in computer science or related discipline
* 1 - 3 years of work experience
* Knowledge of object oriented development, web development and relational database technology
* Demonstrated experience with two or more of the following: Ruby, Python, MS Visual Studio .NET (C#, ASP.NET), MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MVC, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, KendoUI
