[Hidden-tech] Need recommendation for attorney - help on wills

Hi Marcia,

There are a number of good estate attorneys in the area. I will mention
three in particular. In addition, I'll give one tip related to the
intersection of investing / financial planning and estate matters.

My Three
Seunghee Cha and Bill Hart at Bulkley, Richardson & Gelinas have offices in
both Amherst and Springfield.

In Northampton, consider Shelly Steuer.

I have worked with all three on shared clients and we refer to each other
without any referral fees.

Estate planning and tax estate planning are important and don't take very
long to set up.

One item to check that is at the intersection of financial planning and
investing, what we do, and estate planning are named beneficiaries.

Investment accounts and insurance policies often name beneficiaries
specifically. If your intentions change, change those beneficiaries
accordingly. I'm not an attorney and this is not legal advice; in my
opinion, naming a beneficiary may be honored regardless of what a will
stipulates.

attorney who handles wills - preferably in Northampton?
