[Hidden-tech] Strange WordPress error

you didn't give the Blog in question URL so we can't tell if something else is wrong.

As far as the admin pages, you need to disable that plugin (BackupWordPress) not Akismet

You do this manually a number of ways,
you can rename that plugin directory or
deactivate the plugin, using a direct database statement (or PhpmyAdmin or the like)
to delete the active_plugins entry from the wp_options table.

just google "wordpress manually disable plugins"
there are a number of well explained suggestions for you to pick
what makes the most sense to you.
