[Hidden-tech] Anyone have experience purchasing Twitter followers?

This goes against my grain--but I'm up against Twitter's arbitrary limit
where I can't follow anyone else, and meanwhile I'm finding all these
really cool people, many of whom are following me.

About six months ago, I bought 5000 followers for $15, and was able to
follow lots of people. But a couple of months later, they all went away
again and I'm now back to the same situation. Looking for someone reliable
and cheap whose followers will stick around.
