Stacy, Since you're already working with Photoshop, it may be worth pointing out that it is scriptable, via the "Actions" pallette. Several years back I was reducing (to 800x600) between 20 and 1000 images/month using an Action Droplet. One would create a recorded action 'recipe' in the actions pallette, then select it and save it as a Droplet. This creates an icon you can place on the desktop or wherever you choose. Then drop any number of images on the action script icon, sit back and watch it happen by automation. Just remember that it will do precisely what you tell it to, so caution is advised. - Holleran On 3/6/15 2:18 PM, Stacy Kontrabecki wrote: > Short of importing photos I took on my better camera into Photoshop 1 by > 1 and reducing the file size (so I can include the photos in a report > document (Word, PDF) without making the report file huge), is there an > automatic way I can select all the photo files and resize them? > > I should have a better idea of how to manage this, but I don't. > > Thanks. > -- ================================================================== Catamount Computer 413-625-2839 help at catamount.net 56 Bridge St, Shelburne Falls, MA 01370 Honest professional advice at a reasonable price. http://www.catamount.net/ New PCs / Repairs / Upgrades / Training & Consultation * Mac or PC Web Design / Domain Registration & Hosting / Networking Specialist -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
