[Hidden-tech] Ooma

Ooma has worked well for us, for about two years. It will depend a lot on
the quality of your IP connection; I did need to replace an old cable modem
which made our whole network much more stable. We do get a number of
garbage calls on our ported home number but I think happening to everyone,
whether on old landlines or not. Ooma has its own block lists but many of
the garbage numbers now are spoofing the caller ID, also I assume a problem
with the underlying technology that everyone is seeing.
