I had issues with sound quality and "echoes" on the line.  Dropped it
quickly.

Unfortunately, I had the same issues with Vonage.

I grilled my ISP (Cox) on several occasions about this and they denied doing
anything to hinder VOIP.

I ended up doing what they probably hope for, adopting Cox phone service
(which is bulletproof).
