[Hidden-tech] How to Get Rid of SecurityLog.info Browser Hijacker??

Hello,

for the first time in my life, I have a virus ... on my Mac Pro desktop,
(Yosemite 10.10.1). could someone suggest a reliable solution to getting
rid of this "SecurityLog.info Browser Hijacker" once and for all - it's
infected both Google Chrome (Version 39.0.2171.95) & Safari (v8.0.2). I've
searched ways to get it off my computer but a lot of the "anti-virus"
solutions seem pretty untrustworthy themselves.

aaagh., so annoying... and I'm afraid my info has been jeopardized too.
