It helps to know where you are looking for.
Also, note you are looking for home child care,  home care can mean 
seniors also

If child care provider, check with Community Action:
             http://www.communityaction.us/child-care.html

Mass State has a listing on their web site, a bit hard to find:
  look here:
  http://www.mass.gov/edu/birth-grade-12/early-education-and-care/find-early-education-and-care-programs/

and don't ever call them 'baby sitters' - after all they don't sit on 
babies.
