Years ago I learned that most collection agencies aren't very interested in
collecting from creditors, rather they are interested in the up-front fee
that you provide. 

The "secret" I came away with is to invoice early and often.

Sometimes the threat of having a big name lawyer as your brother-in-law
might work.

I have an unpaid invoice on a contract with a Cambridge tech company. 
They won't return my calls. I'd appreciate any referrals for collection 
agencies to work on this.
