Hi everyone, We are thinking of putting our house in Goshen (1800 square feet; three bedrooms plus office that could be another bedroom) up for rent, furnished, for the academic year - September through May. No smoking, no pets. It's a nature-lover's dream location, but might be hard for a city person to manage in winter. Perhaps perfect for a visiting professor with a spouse and/or small family. 1. Would you expect it to be easy, challenging or near-impossible to find a suitable renter under those conditions? 2. Anyone know if the local colleges have inside channels for posting such rentals where the info would not be visible to the general public? (Pre-Internet, they definitely did.) 3. Any advice for making this work? Thanks! It would be for 2016 and subsequent years, not this coming year. (Planning ahead...)
