[Hidden-tech] Looking for data mining and/or text analysis expertise

Hello all,

I am working on project that uses machine learning/data mining and text
analysis methods with the goal of recognizing leadership development
levels. Our training data includes human-scored text from a text-based
assessment instrument, and I am collaborating with leaders in the field
of assessment of leadership skills on a small exploratory project so see if
automated scoring technology has a chance of working in this area.

I'm looking for folks in the Valley with industrial strength expertise in
these technologies who are willing to give me a little advice at on the
project, which could lead to paid consulting work if the project continues.
I'm currently working with some tools from Weka and R but am relatively new
to this field. This project is about producing results that will make a
difference in people's lives, so just getting good-looking results to
publish is not enough, and I want to be more convinced RE validity and
performance metrics.

Any takers out there?
