HI Will,

I can highly recommend Pro8mm.com in Burbank, CA. They were the original Super8Sound formerly of Cambridge, MA, years ago and relocated to Burbank to be at the heart of the film industry. They are longterm experts in Super 8 processing, transfer to digital, as well as sales, service, and repair of any and all things Super8.

Ask to speak to Jaclyn Vigeant and tell her that I sent you. She can guide you through the process and advise on the special handling which archival footage such as that of shot by father will require.

Hope this helps,
Kimo Lee

I have approximately 4500 feet (15 300' reels) of 8mm film shot by my father between the 1930s and 1950s, all of which appears to be in excellent condition. I'd like it digitized direct to disk (.MOV format). Most of it's black and white but there are a few color segments that would be nice to have color corrected along the way.
