[Hidden-tech] Volunteer needed to move WordPress site

As one who does probably too much pro bono work both within and outside my
business, it has occurred to me that if an organization needs unpaid work in
order to be viable, its business model is likely a failure. And if it does
not need free work, asking for it (outside of board members) leaves it open
to the debatable accusation of moral failings.

Note: Increasingly, ISPs, companies and individuals use spam blocking
systems that block legitimate email too. Important emails should be followed
up with a phone call if no reply happens within an expected span of time.

It's true. I volunteered hundreds of hours of layout and graphic design
services to a NC job placement nonprofit, but I was also a board member.
What I see more often is an attitude of entitlement: nonprofits expect a pro
bono or steeply discounted site simply because their cause is worthy,
without offering any chance to have meaningful input into the organization.
