Although I am not a client of Virginia Smith, I know her work, and second Jan's recommendation...both in terms of hiring specific expertise, and Virginia in particular.

Having recently been executor for the estates of several relatives, I strongly suggest using someone who specializes in estate work. There are just too many details that a non-specialist might overlook but that can cause problems when it is too late to do anything about them.

My personal recommendation would be Virginia Smith, at Parese, Sabin, Smith & Gold, LLP in Pittsfield for a Massachusetts estate.
