Okay! With three responders (Tim, Tom, Daniel) I think we can schedule a Hangout and talk about stirring up local interest (among those who may not be on this list) for an initial gathering to see who's here (via flyers, local paper, etc.). How's evening of May 27th or 28th, 8pm or 9pm? Please reply back to bmoreinis at gmail.com with your gmail address and availability (no need to burden this list). If none of those work, June 3 or 4; if you've no Gmail address for a hangout, we can telephone you in. Once we have a time set for the hangout, we'll let this list know in case there are stragglers. I would like to schedule a gathering for the week of June 16th, before folks start taking summer vacations or whatever, but let's see how we roll. My hope is that the GLUG (Greenfield Linux Users Group) focus on desktop distributions (e.g. Mint) rather than servers (seems a very different animal to me) as a local support network (and evangelist hub). I'm working on a summer teen IT service learning program that could include distributing such machines to needy homes, for example. -Bram 845-750-2412
