[Hidden-tech] Anyone understand international transactions?

Hi Claire,

All banks have the IBAN number and it's like a routing number - necessary for international wire transfers. You can just ask your bank and they will give you the necessary information. 

Florence Savings, for example, does the international transfers through another bank but they can give you the necessary information. 

I never had to use a BIC number to receive international funds...that may depend on your bank. 

Also, it's safe to give the information out over the internet. It just identified your bank (like a routing number) and not your account.
