Hi Dede, I've been using DropBox for a bunch of years and haven't encountered a permissions issue before, so I'm interested to see how you're able to resolve this. At first I thought it would be a simple fix by running Fix Permissions in the Disk Utility, but after a quick google search, I found this article: http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-57591872-263/quickly-fix-dropbox-permissions-errors-in-os-x/ Basically, open your Dropbox preferences, then go to the Account tab, and then hold the option key down — the button labeled "Unlink this Dropbox..." will change to "Fix Permissions" — with the option key still held down, select the "Fix Permissions" button. Nice feature I didn't know existed. Hopefully, this will fix your issue! All of a sudden an entire folder won’t let me view it and says I don’t have permission. Yet when I Get Info on the folder it says that I do have permission to read & write. Have tried quitting and noggin in again. Going to Dropbox itself instead of from my computer. Nothing working. Other can view the folder, just not me and I didn’t change anything on my end > > > > <Screen Shot 2014-03-10 at 5.57.48 PM.png> > > > Dédé Wilson > Founder | Bakepedia - The Baker's Resource ® > dede at bakepedia.com > www.bakepedia.com > > <spis9d.png><14v75o4.jpg> <2zem974.jpg> > > _______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
