I've been using a 4.5Ah Li-ion pack for these sorts of applications. The COP 12VPK4.5A is basic, but works well: http://www.amazon.com/4-5mAH-Li-ion-Rechargeable-Battery-Pack/dp/B001DT9S3C/ I have a friend that has been using a Chinese-built pack with (supposedly) higher capacity: http://www.amazon.com/Hiyadeal-Portable-9800mAh-Rechargeable-Battery/dp/B008QKJNOA/ I've stopped using NiMH packs because the Li-ion packs are lighter and more compact. -- Roger Williams <roger at qux.com> Chief Technical Officer, Qux Corporation 245 Russell Street, Hadley, MA 01035, USA Tel +1 508 287-1420 * Fax +1 508 302-0230 On 24 Jul 2014, at 12:33, tom's gmail <tomadams at gmail.com> wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > Hello, > > I'm looking for a solution to make my wireless audio receiver portable by using a 12V power pack that is small enough for me to bring this with me on shoots in the field. > > Does anyone know of a portable 12v power pack that is universal and would fit into the back of this unit (photo attached). > > Hope that makes sense... > > <image.jpeg> > > > > > Regards, > > Tom Adams, Director/Owner > Reelife Productions & Folktography > www.ReelifeProductions.com > (from my virtual office/iPhone) > 413.575.9707 > _______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
