[Hidden-tech] Portable 12v power pack ?

I've been using a 4.5Ah Li-ion pack for these sorts of applications. The COP 12VPK4.5A is basic, but works well:

I have a friend that has been using a Chinese-built pack with (supposedly) higher capacity:

I've stopped using NiMH packs because the Li-ion packs are lighter and more compact.
