I don't know about Hadley or Amherst/Northampton, BUT here are some other
options that might be worth considering:

Option 1:

If your client is not adverse to camping, one option might be:

Camping at either Lake Wyola State Park or Wendell State Forest and working at
the Wendell Free Library. The Wendell Free Library has 10Mbits up/down
Internet access (via the MBI Middle Mile Fiber). The library is open on
Mondays for Internet access only, 12-5pm and on Tuesdays for full library
services from 12-6pm. You would be sharing the space with other Internet
users, but the price (for the space and Internet) is hard to beat at $0.00
(and I believe the camping at the state parks is pretty cheap, probably
cheaper that any sort of hotel/motel room).

Option 2:

Renovators Supply rents hole-in-the wall office space at $1/square foot,
month-to-month. I know that they have at least one room that is 100 sq.ft.:
$100/month + $20/month for Internet ($120/month all together). Renovators
Supply is in Erving, MA at 1 River Street, just across the river from Turners
Falls, MA. You would have to truck in furniture (eg desk/table, chairs, etc.).
