This inversion of colors in jpg images is showing up in several sites. Petfinder gets many submissions and during the past few months, quite a few images have inverted colors. There are two suggested solutions: zip the file (suggested previously in this thread) or save it in RGB format rather than CYMK, then send the image. Cameras should create an image in RGB format, but if it is modified with editing software, it might be saved as CMYK. Since it came from a publishing house I bet it has been modified to fit the printers' needs. This link might help explain the difference of images for the web and for print http://www.adworkshop.com/blog/2013/05/color-system-clarity-difference-between-rgb-cmyk It is not a new problem but to me it seems to be occurring more frequently. -Doug On Sun, Jan 12, 2014 at 10:33 AM, Dede Wilson <dede at dedewilson.com> wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > > Something has happened 2x in the last few months that has never happened > before.
