This is probably what's going on, The Find my iPhone feature was enabled on the phone. This article talks about transferring from one Apple ID to another. The issue you are having is that you don't have the previous Apple ID. Apple's official stance will be "Can't help you, sorry" http://www.imore.com/how-turn-off-find-my-iphone-remotely-and-bypass-activation-lock Here is an article to supposedly get around it, unfortunately it seems to only be exploitable by iOS7 and older, so if the phone updated to 7.1 (or whatever they are on now) it will be a no-go. Sorry, there are a million articles and message boards with people saying their phones are "bricked" because of this. http://www.macrumors.com/2014/02/06/disable-find-my-iphone/ On Mon, Feb 10, 2014 at 12:39 PM, Dede <dede at dedewilson.com> wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > > Ask for "level 2" or a "tier 2" supervisor at Apple and push push push....I > recently had an ID issue and it took hours but I got it done! > > > > > > *Dédé Wilson* > Founder | *Bakepedia - The Baker's Resource *(R) > dede at bakepedia.com > www.bakepedia.com > > <http://twitter.com/bakepedia> > <http://twitter.com/bakepedia> <http://twitter.com/bakepedia><http://twitter.com/bakepedia><http://twitter.com/bakepedia><http://twitter.com/bakepedia><http://twitter.com/bakepedia><http://twitter.com/bakepedia><http://twitter.com/bakepedia><http://twitter.com/bakepedia><http://twitter.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia><http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia> > <http://www.facebook.com/bakepedia> <http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia><http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia><http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia><http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia><http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia><http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia><http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia><http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia><http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia><http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia> > <http://www.pinterest.com/bakepedia> > > > _______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members > -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
