If you don't mind doing the project yourself, I bought one of these off of Amazon and it worked fine connected to a Windows 7 laptop. Beware, however - certain versions of this product are not Mac compatible if that is your preference. http://www.ionaudio.com/products/details/slides-2-pc-express. Be sure to remove all dust from the slides for best quality - the rest is just time. It's a great rainy day project, and if your dad was anything like mine, you only really want to be able to scan about 10% of the slides you have, because the rest are out of focus, of his shoes, of the sky, etc :) Dave Dave DelVecchio President Innovative Business Systems, Inc. 161 Northampton Street Easthampton, MA 01027 PH: 413.584.4274 | Direct: 413.203.8301 Em: ddelvecchio at for-ibs.com | web: www.for-ibs.com -----Original Message----- From: hidden-discuss-bounces at lists.hidden-tech.net [mailto:hidden-discuss-bounces at lists.hidden-tech.net] On Behalf Of Chris Landry Sent: Monday, April 21, 2014 5:56 PM To: hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net Subject: [Hidden-tech] Digitizing slides ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. ** If you did, we all thank you. Hey Hidden Techers, I know this has come up before but I can't find it. I'm looking for a trusted place around here to have my Dad's old Kodak slides scanned.
