*Lab Manager/Instructor - Computer Science, Mount Holyoke College*

Mount Holyoke College is seeking a Lab Manager/Instructor to support the
computer science department in its teaching endeavors. The position
comprises Lab Manager and Instructor responsibilities. This 9-month
full-time position will be focused on Lab Management/Instruction during the
semester.  Responsibilities include: work with faculty in the planning,
preparation, and evaluation of lab lessons, supervise lab periods, answer
student questions, and supervise student teaching assistants.

*Qualifications*

*Strong programming skills and hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science
or have equivalent experience.

· Strong leadership qualities

·  Excellent communication skills are essential as the candidate will be
interacting with a diverse community of faculty, staff and students, often
under compressed    timeline.

·   Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, listening,
and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with
minimal supervision.

·   Creativity, flexibility and a passion for supporting a collaborative
environment of faculty, staff and undergraduate students.

 Estimated start date is mid-August, 2014.  The academic schedule of this
position is mid-August to mid-May each year.  This position has an hourly
wage of $24/hour.
