I agree, Win 95 is very likely to have problems with modern hardware. You might be better off downloading VirtualBox - https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads - and copying the original hard disk to an image there (I can tell you how to do that on Linux, but it does require a bit of expertise). Then you can have a newer computer, and run Win95 in a virtual computer - an emulator (but a very fast one) - which emulates hardware Win95 will recognize. -Tim On Tue, Oct 22, 2013 at 5:00 PM, Robert Heller <heller at deepsoft.com> wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > At Tue, 22 Oct 2013 12:57:59 -0700 dstevens at tryandfindit.com wrote: > > > > > MIME-Version: 1.0 > > > > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's > area. > > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > > > > > > > > > > I am working on an "old" Windows 95 Computer..... > > Okay, now that you have stopped laughing... :0) > > > > I am trying to help my neighbor get his program back up and running.
