[Hidden-tech] Chrome and slow bandwidth

OK so up here in Shutesbury with my Verizon cell connection I have best luck with Safari. For some reason Yammer doesnt want to work with my Safari and some have suggested using Chrome, and it works. The problem is I have Safari open for everything else as I Hate Chrome. It has never performed well for me....anyone have this experience with Chrome with the lesser bandwidths? And/or the PITA factor of having 2 browsers open with my slow connection? Any ideas?
