The Center for Knowledge Communication (CKC) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is seeking a computer programmer to provide temporary part-time service to support development of its intelligent instructional software system. The software programmer will help implement and maintain a large heavily used software system. This position requires experience with programming in Java and MYSQL. Experience with Flash and HTML5 is a plus. Experience preferred in Linux This is a part-time temporary position to begin June 1, 2013. This is a federally funded position and further work depends on continued funding. A Bachelor of Science in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience is requested plus 1-2 years experience required. A Masters of Science is preferred.
