Kinkos used to specialize in large scanning jobs at a few of their major locations, like Boston, but not sure they¹re even in business any longer. This won¹t help you in your next Trivia game, but my firm¹s name, DISC, originally stood for Document Imaging and Scanning Company, which is what we did from 1995-7, at which time I moved full bore into search marketing, but did scanning jobs up to about 2002. I used to know a ton about this stuff. One thing that was true even in the early 2000s is that the cost of high-ish speed scanners was coming way down. You might just buy one. Hi Tori, I do some image scanning here but I don't specialize in it, so I can't do either high volume or especially low pricing. This is true for all of the local service providers I know of, and some of them just farm it out anyway. But I do know of these folks in the Worcester area. http://www.vstudios.us/photos-slides-35mm-picture-scanning-cd-dvd-services.h tml <http://http//www.vstudios.us/photos-slides-35mm-picture-scanning-cd-dvd-ser vices.html> I haven't used them yet, but it looks like it could work for you. Good luck and let us know if works out. I am looking to digitize about two wine boxes worth of photos. I need either: an easy, recent photo scanner that I could rent or potentially borrow from someone for several days. OR A local service that will scan my photos for under 39 cents per photo. Does anyone know of either? Thanks in advance!
