[Hidden-tech] Need adapter to download video content to MacBook Pro

Hi Deborah,

As others have mentioned, the newest Retina Display MacBook Pros have Thunderbolt and USB3 ports. You can buy a Thunderbolt to Firewire adaptor from Apple if needed.
As an aside, I would suggest purchasing a Thunderbolt or Firewire compatible hard drive to put the raw video on, instead of on the MacBook's drive. Your raw footage will undoubtedly fill up the MacBook's drive quickly depending upon the length of the project and the shooting ratio. Many drive manufacturers are now making Thunderbolt drives. Check out Lacie.com.
