[Hidden-tech] Mobile Internet connection

Good day!

I'll be taking a studio sublet in Easthampton this summer. The studio does not have an Internet connection, so I'll be exploring mobile broadband access with either Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile using a laptop stick (or some other hardware) with my MacBook Pro.

Does anyone have experiences and/or suggestions they'd be kind enough to share with this technology? Any thoughts are most appreciated.
