Thank you everyone for your ideas. I'm having a hard time finding a group of photos that are consistent between each photo. Has anyone hired someone in the area to take these kinds of photos? I'm hoping to get a set that are consistent and look like part of the set. _ michael On Jun 29, 2013, at 21:27 PM, Linda Taylor <lintaylor at verizon.net> wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > Look for "isolated" in the search field rather than "plain background". > > > > > Linda Taylor > Taylor Graphics > 413-628-3959 > lintaylor at verizon.net > > > > On Jun 29, 2013, at 5:39 PM, Ron Miller <ronsmiller at gmail.com> wrote: > >> ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. >> ** If you did, we all thank you. >> >> >> You'll be hard pressed to find this searching because most pictures are tagged by subject, not background type. It will very likely be a tedious hit or miss type of search. I did a search for "Plain Background" on search.creativecommons.org" (a great site for finding photos), clicked use for commercial purposes and modify, adapt or build upon and chose Flickr. There were a couple, but not many. You could try this with different combinations, but it's going to be difficult. Your best bet is probably a stock photo site that would have the plain background option in its search options. >> >> Good luck. >> >> Ron >> >> >> On Sat, Jun 29, 2013 at 12:33 PM, Michael Bishop <mbishop at me.com> wrote: >> ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. >> ** If you did, we all thank you. >> >> >> >> Hello all, >> >> Does anyone here have a resource they can recommend for plain-white-background photos (think DK books). >> >> I'm looking for photos of exercises and chairs. >> >> I'd love to find some Creative-Commons-Licensed stuff. >> >> _ michael >> >> ---- >> http://www.numerical-garden.com >> >> >> >> >> Here are some examples... >> >> >> >> <chair.png><abdominal_crunch.png> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net >> Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net >> >> You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. >> If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members >> page on the Hidden Tech Web site. >> http://www.hidden-tech.net/members >> >> >> >> -- >> >> Ron Miller >> Freelance Technology Journalist >> >> Editor, FierceContentManagement >> Contributor, CITEworld >> >> Contributing Editor, EContent Magazine >> TechTarget View From Above Blogger >> >> Co-founder, www.socmedia101.com >> blog: http://byronmiller.typepad.com >> >> Twitter: http://twitter.com/ron_miller >> Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Reporter.ron >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net >> Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net >> >> You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. >> If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members >> page on the Hidden Tech Web site. >> http://www.hidden-tech.net/members > > _______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members _ michael ---- http://www.numerical-garden.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
