Thanks, first of all, for all who took the time to send a recommendation. 

 

Terran, I was thinking the same thing, but it seems there are themes that
are specifically designed for ecommerce sites, which is why I asked the
question as I did.

Don,

 

You're more likely to be looking for a plugin to deal with ecommerce than a
theme. Cart66 and woocommerce are two well regarded plugins. Most themes
should play fairly well with them.

We are looking for suggestions for a WordPress theme for a client. Our
requirements are:

 

1.       It handles ecommerce.

2.       It links to PayPal to handle credit card payments.

3.       It handles multiple shipping options.

 

The client sells food products, if that is relevant.

 

What themes have people used and what recommendations do you have?
