Hi Dede,

I agree with Tom, I think you would like the Tivoli. Gorgeous sound. Not cheap but will last.
(The chill speakers are very cool but good enough for a party.)

Now the best think I can imagine for a party, and the way I know you, would be the Geneva sound system.
It looks and sounds fabulous.
I work for Yes Computers and we sell it there. 

So give it a try or rather a listen and we can also talk about it a bit when I see you next week
