December 10, 2013 Re: Request for Proposal Website Redesign of Shelburnefalls.com and GSFABA.org The Greater Shelburne Falls Business Association (GSFABA) has two websites, www.gsfaba.org and www.shelburnefalls.com. The former helps GSFABA reach its members, manage its events, and grow our organization; the latter promotes the region as a destination for outdoor recreation and eco/heritage/cultural tourism. We have a webmaster to keep the content current, but also need to be astute in managing the sites and the databases. We use Joomla 2.5 on both sites but want to migrate each to 3.1. We are seeking a website designer and CiviCRM developer to help us with three distinct aspects of improving our effectiveness on the web. 1. Use CiviCRM to build a database that will enable us to track our members as we grow and inventory the assets of our region (At present, we have 240, but anticipate growth in the coming years as we expand our service area and program). 2. Train the staff (3) and webmaster to better use, manage and integrate the two sites. 3. Redesign the shelburnefalls.com site to help with branding the region. Ideally, the websites will help us brand our region, attract tourists, new business and industry, and bring the different business sectors together for the economic betterment of the region as a whole. Attached is a detailed list of improvements we want concerning the design of the Shelburne Falls site, content for each site, and the use and integration of CiviCRM on both sites. In responding to this RFP, please send us information about your design firm, references, samples of work, experience using CiviCRM, and an estimate of the cost of services to GSFABA. Your quote(s) can be for CiviCRM or the redesign or both. The deadline for submitting your proposal is December 24, 2013. Thank you in advance for your proposal.
